Who We Are

Our Purpose

  • Exalting God

  • Edifying the Church

  • Extending the Kingdom

Our Statement of Faith

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and that it has supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

We believe there is one God, infinite, eternal and immutable; existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Eternal Son of God who became man, without ceasing to be God; His virgin birth, His sinless life, His substitutionary death for our sins, His bodily resurrection, ascension and second coming.

We believe in the Holy Spirit who came forth from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgment; and to regenerate, seal and sanctify all who believe in Jesus Christ. He indwells, baptizes and empowers all believers at the moment of their salvation.

We believe that though man was created in the image of God, through the fall of Adam, all men are sinners by nature and practice; and are unable to remedy his lost condition in and of himself.

We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

We believe in the universal Church, a living spiritual body of which Christ is the head and all regenerated persons are members. We believe in the local church, consisting of a group of believers in Jesus Christ, who desire to glorify God, edify the Church and evangelize the world.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ has committed two ordinances to the local Church: Baptism and the Lord's Supper. We believe that Baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the living God. We believe that the Lord's Supper was instituted by Christ for commemoration of His death.

We believe in the personal imminent and pre-millennial return of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our History

In the late fall of 1954, a group of concerned Christians held several meetings at the Concrete Grade School. Out of these meetings came the incorporation of the Community Bible Church of Concrete, and the adoption of a Statement of Faith, as well as, the church's Constitution and Bylaws.

By the spring of 1955, land had been purchased and plans were made to build a church building. Ground was broken on Sunday afternoon, June 26, 1955. Work on the building quickly progressed so that the roof was shingled on a snowy Thanksgiving day. The first service in the new facility was held Mother's Day in 1956.

Since 1954, Community Bible Church has been served by the following pastors:
